TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Before purchasing any custom products you are agreeing to all policies by Open By Surprise Event & Design listed below. Open By Surprise will not be responsible if customer failure to read our policies before purchasing. All communication MUST BE made via email due to design purposes. Please be sure when purchasing your products you are entering your email and telephone number in correctly so we can better assist you. If for any reason you have concerns about your purchase will give you a call at our convenience. 

 

CONSENTING

 

You agree to provide accurate information for all purchases made on our site. You agree that all photos sent directly to us will be used for promotional and design purposes. All designs created by Open By Surprise is owned by Open By Surprise Event & Design. Any licensed characters used are for personal usage only.

 

PHOTO(S)

 

All professional photo(s) must be at least 300 DPI for booked events. Clients that book Open By Surprise Event & Design that doesn’t have professional photo(s) will be asked the following 1. To provide quality photo(s) that will elevate the event design. 2. Be asked not to use the photo presented due to quality.

 

Client(s) that book Open By Surprise that provides professional photos and would like to use their photo must match the overall design. This may include Theme, Color Scheme etc. Providing photo(s) that coordinates with the event will transform the event design and provide the right atmosphere and mood to your event. 

 

Customers that choose to order grave blankets and In Loving Memory Backdrops have the exception to provide a low quality photo. We understand its hard obtaining professional photos for your love one(s).  However, photos that are lower than 100DPI will come out blurry and/or pixilated and Open By Surprise will not be held responsible. Customers will have the opportunity to decide whether or not if they will like to proceed with their order once they know their photo quality.

 

PHOTO RESOLUTION

 

 Photo(s) sent that are 72 DPI is consider a low resolution photo. Per Open By Surprise Event & Design policy we will not be held responsible for blurry and/or pixelated print designs including digital files. 

 

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

 

Digital proof color may vary based on computer monitors; there may be variance in color(s). Please check for typography, grammar, spelling and any other errors. We are not responsible for any errors on your part after approval and proofs are sent. At any time we have the right to make any changes to our product description and/ or discontinue any custom products. Once proof has been approved your custom products go directly into queue and no changes can be made.

 

DIGITAL FILES

 

Digital files purchased are for customization and email delivery only with high resolution with a .JPEG file for you to print yourself.  This printable design is for PERSONAL USE ONLY! Under no circumstance can these files be resold, altered or given away. 


 

PRODUCTION TIME

 

Please allow at least 48-72 hours for design to be complete and 4-7 business days to receive your order. We recommend ordering at least 2 weeks in advance to avoid any rush fees. Production turnaround times are based on event date and design queue. NOT INCLUDING WEEKENDS, unless the designer has no events on weekends to complete your design. Depending on the type of custom package(s) and how many is purchased production time may take up to 1-2 months for completion. After we complete your design, we will communicate & send proofs via email within 72hr unless a rush fee has been added to your order.  

REVISIONS

 

We offer a max of three revisions. Revisions include, Photo/Art Placement, Color Change, and Text. If any extra revisions are needed there will be an additional $20 fee. To avoid paying additional fee(s) please be sure to send us detailed information regarding your order. This may include Add Gold/ Silver Glitter, Bold Font, Texture Type, Theme etc. If you do not know exactly what you want we can freestyle a custom design based on basic information such as Name, Age, and & Theme). Our freestyle design is one of our most popular requests!

 

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

 

Our products and services may include materials from third-parties. Third party links on this site may direct you to a third-party website that is not afflicted with Open by Surprise. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and we will not have any liability or responsibility for any third party materials or website, or any other materials, products or services of third-parties.

 

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

 

Due to nature of customization of products and services that are sold we do not offer refunds on any custom products listed on this site. Open By Surprise has the right to cancel any order at any time for any reason. We shall not be liable you or to any third- party for modification, price change, suspensions or discountenance of our service.

 

LOCAL PICKUP

 

Local orders must be picked up no later than 6pm Monday – Friday and excluding weekends. Unless arrangements has been made to meet at a different time. We will call, text email stating that your custom product is ready for pickup along with pickup times that’s most convenient. Failure to pick up your order at the agreed time upon time  please respect the agreed pickup time because we have no room to keep orders over 24hrs. Please respect our agreed time as we have no room to keep orders over 24hrs. Thank you!


 

SHIPPED PRODUCTS

 

Please allow at least 48-72 hours for design to be complete and 4-7 business days to receive your order. We recommend ordering at least 2 weeks in advance to avoid any rush fees. Open by Surprise is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged packages or weather delivery delays. Open By Surprise is not responsible once the packages has successfully delivered directly to the shipping carrier ownership to transfer to the shipper then to the buyer. 

 

Before submitting your order check name and shipping address before completing. All orders will be shipped via UPS, FEDEX, OR USPS standard shipping. (4-7 days: Excluding holidays and weekends delivery based on location) unless expedited shipping is purchased for guarantee. We do not ship to PO BOXES. Shipping excludes Holidays & Weekends. We are not responsible for shipping delays. Please order at least 14 days in advance.

 

RUSH ORDERS

 

We offer rush options for all custom products.  All rushed order(s) will be given priority status as we work by “EVENT DUE DATE.” Please email us at openbysurprise@gmail.com along with you which custom product(s) you would like to order. Please include if you would like 1-Day overnight ship or 2-Day shipping. Once email is received, we will then send you a invoice with the rush payment included. Once payment is made your order will go in High priority status.  

 

PAYMENTS

 

Open By Surprise Event & Design doesn’t start on any design without a payment made in full for all Customization products including Digital Files. Custom products price starting at $120 + and all digital files starting pricing starts at $25+ depending on the type of file requested.

ADDITIONAL PHOTO

Additional photo(s) is $25 per custom products such custom backdrops, custom banners, custom grave blankets, custom in loving memory backdrops unless stated differently under each product description. 

 

EXTRA REVISION / REDESIGN FEE

 

Any additional revision needed for custom products and digital files will be additional $20 fee. Please keep in mind that each design includes up to 3 revisions. This means that you are only allowed to make 3 changes. For Example: If i was to make you a custom backdrop design and sent you the first draft, the following is not considered:

1.  Can you change the name?

2. Can you change the font style?

3. Can you change the picture out?

4. Can you make the font smaller?

All of these changes are considered as 4 revisions. Which means, you'll' have to pay additional $20 for the extra revisions requested.

CHARGE BACKS/ DISPUTES

​

If for any reason a customer or potential client wishes to proceed with any chargebacks after purchasing any custom products from Open By Surprise Event & Design will no longer be able to purchase from our website and will be banned for future orders.
